रुरुधुश्चापरास्तत्र प्रजघ्नुश्न परस्परम् । मन्त्रयामासुरन्याश्व॒ रहस्यानि परस्परम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | rurudhuś cāparās tatra prajaghnuś ca parasparam | mantrayāmāsur anyāś ca rahasyāni parasparam ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Là, certaines femmes se saisissaient l’une l’autre pour se retenir, et d’autres se donnaient de légers coups dans une bousculade enjouée ; tandis que d’autres encore, à l’écart, s’asseyaient en secret et échangeaient entre elles des paroles confidentielles.
