वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights truthful reporting and responsible listening: Arjuna recounts events exactly as they occurred, and Kṛṣṇa, as a discerning authority, confirms the account. Ethically, it underscores fidelity to facts and the role of wise validation in dharmic decision-making.
Arjuna finishes narrating the full sequence of events to Kṛṣṇa. After hearing everything, Kṛṣṇa responds with affirmation—“It is exactly so”—signaling acceptance of Arjuna’s report and readiness to proceed based on that understanding.
