प्रभासे कृष्णार्जुनसमागमः तथा द्वारकाप्रवेशः | Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Meeting at Prabhāsa and Entry into Dvārakā
प्राडमुखो भगवानास्ते दक्षिणेन महेश्वर: । देवाश्वैवोत्तरेणासन् सर्वतस्त्वृषयो5भवन्,ब्रह्माजीके दक्षिणभागमें भगवान् महेश्वर पूर्वांभिमुख होकर बैठे थे, उत्तरभागमें देवतालोग थे तथा ऋषि-मुनि ब्रह्माजीके चारों ओर बैठे थे
prāḍmukho bhagavān āste dakṣiṇena maheśvaraḥ | devāś caivottareṇāsan sarvatas tv ṛṣayo 'bhavan ||
Nārada dit : Au côté méridional de Brahmā siégeait le Bienheureux Maheśvara, tourné vers l’est. Au nord étaient assis les dieux, et tout autour de Brahmā se tenaient les sages, disposés de toutes parts.
नारद उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic decorum: in sacred councils, beings take their appropriate places and orientations, expressing reverence, hierarchy, and harmony—an outward order that mirrors inner discipline and respect for divine authority.
Nārada describes the seating arrangement in a divine-sage assembly around Brahmā: Śiva sits to the south facing east, the gods sit to the north, and the sages surround Brahmā on all sides, setting the stage for a solemn deliberation or discourse.
