दिष्टया जीवन्ति ते पार्था दिष्टया जीवति सा पृथा । दिष्टया द्रुपदकन्यां च लब्धवन्तो महारथा:,सौभाग्यकी बात है कि वे कुन्तीपुत्र जीवित हैं। सौभाग्यसे ही कुन्ती भी जीवित है और यह भी बड़े सौभाग्यकी बात है कि उन महारथियोंने ट्रुपदकन्याको प्राप्त कर लिया

Transliteration

diṣṭyā jīvanti te pārthā diṣṭyā jīvati sā pṛthā | diṣṭyā drupadakanyāṃ ca labdhavanto mahārathāḥ ||

Translation

Vidura dit : «Par heureuse fortune, les fils de Pṛthā (les Pāṇḍava) sont en vie ; par heureuse fortune, Pṛthā (Kuntī) elle-même vit. Et c’est encore par une très grande fortune que ces puissants guerriers ont obtenu la fille de Drupada (pour épouse).»
