समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
वसूनां पुनरुत्पत्तिर्भागीरथ्यां महात्मनाम् | शान्तनोर्वेश्मनि पुनस्तेषां चारोहणं दिवि,इसके बाद महाराज शान्तनुके गृहमें भागीरथी गंगाके गर्भसे महात्मा वसुओंकी उत्पत्ति एवं फिरसे उनके स्वर्गमें जानेका वर्णन किया गया है
vasūnāṁ punarutpattir bhāgīrathyāṁ mahātmanām | śāntanor veśmani punas teṣāṁ cārohaṇaṁ divi ||
Le récit décrit ensuite comment les Vasus, magnanimes, renaquirent par Bhāgīrathī (Gaṅgā) dans la maison du roi Śāntanu, et comment, après avoir accompli le cours qui leur était destiné, ils remontèrent de nouveau au ciel.
