समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
तत्रस्थांश्व पुनर्द्रष्ट पाण्डवान् पुरुषर्षभान् । वासुदेवस्यागमनमत्रैव परिकीर्तितम्,जब नरपुंगव पाण्डव काम्यकवनमें निवास करने लगे, तब उनसे मिलनेके लिये वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण उनके पास आये--यह कथा इसी प्रसंगमें कही गयी है
tatra-sthānś ca punar draṣṭuṃ pāṇḍavān puruṣarṣabhān | vāsudevasyāgamanam atraiva parikīrtitam ||
Il est de nouveau rapporté ici que, tandis que les Pāṇḍava—les plus éminents des hommes—demeuraient en ce lieu, Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) vint les visiter. Le récit met en lumière la force nourricière de la compagnie juste : au temps de l’exil et de l’épreuve, les vertueux sont affermis par un conseil venu à propos et par la présence du sage et du dévoué.
