समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

महादेवेन युद्ध च किरातवपुषा सह । दर्शन॑ं लोकपालानामग्त्रप्राप्तिस्तथैव च,वहीं किरातवेशधारी महादेवजीके साथ अर्जुनका युद्ध हुआ, लोकपालोंके दर्शन हुए और अस्त्रकी प्राप्ति हुई
Mahādevena yuddhaṃ ca kirātavapuṣā saha | darśanaṃ lokapālānām astraprāptis tathaiva ca ||
Il y eut aussi un combat contre Mahādeva, qui avait pris l’apparence d’un Kirāta (chasseur des montagnes). Puis vint la vision des Lokapālas (gardiens des directions), et de même l’acquisition des armes divines.
