Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 193 — Hastināpura Mantra: Duryodhana’s Proposals to Divide the Pāṇḍavas
वैशम्पायन उवाच ततः प्रयाता: कुरुपुड्रवास्ते पुरोहितं तं परियाप्य सर्वे | आस्थाय यानानि महान्ति तानि कुन्ती च कृष्णा च सहैकयाने
vaiśampāyana uvāca tataḥ prayātāḥ kurupuṇḍravās te purohitaṃ taṃ pariyāpya sarve | āsthāya yānāni mahānti tāni kuntī ca kṛṣṇā ca sahaikayāne ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Alors les Pāṇḍava, les plus éminents des Kuru, après avoir pris congé avec respect du prêtre de la lignée, partirent tous. Montant sur ces grands équipages, ils poursuivirent leur route ; et, en ce moment-là, Kuntī et Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) voyageaient ensemble dans un même véhicule.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in moments of movement and political urgency, dharmic order is maintained: the heroes first honor and formally take leave of the purohita, reflecting reverence for sacred counsel and disciplined social conduct.
The Pāṇḍavas depart after bidding farewell to their priest, mount their large conveyances, and proceed toward their destination; Kuntī and Draupadī are specifically noted as traveling together in a single vehicle.
