Shloka 17
निखातं यच्च वै वित्तं केनचिद् भृगुवेश्मनि । वैरायैव तदा न्यस्तं क्षत्रियान् कोपयिष्णुभि:,किसी भृगुवंशीने अपने घरमें जो धन गाड़ दिया था, वह भी वैर बढ़ानेके लिये ही किया गया था। हम चाहते थे कि क्षत्रियलोग हमारे ऊपर कुपित हो जायेँ
nikhātaṃ yac ca vai vittaṃ kenacid bhṛguveśmani | vairāyaiva tadā nyastaṃ kṣatriyān kopayiṣṇubhiḥ ||
Et cette richesse qu’un certain homme avait enfouie dans la demeure d’un Bhṛgu fut, en ce temps-là, déposée uniquement pour attiser l’inimitié — par ceux qui voulaient exciter la colère des kṣatriya.
