This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse; its function is to mark completion and preserve textual organization. Indirectly, it highlights that Kuntī’s questioning is treated as a distinct thematic unit—suggesting the importance of reflective inquiry in discerning dharma amid danger and social responsibility.
The text is concluding a chapter: it states that the 159th chapter, focused on Kuntī’s questions, within the Baka-slaying subsection of the Ādi Parva, has ended. It serves as an editorial closure and transition to the next chapter.
