परिष्वज्य च तस्याथ मूर्धानं स््नेहविक्लव: । अंगराज्याभिषेकार्द्रम श्रुभि: सिषिचे पुन:,उसने स्नेहसे विह्लल होकर कर्णको हृदयसे लगा लिया और अंगदेशके राज्यपर अभिषेक होनेसे भीगे हुए उसके मस्तकको आँसुओंसे पुनः: अभिषिक्त कर दिया
parisvajya ca tasyātha mūrdhānaṃ snehaviklavaḥ | aṅgarājyābhiṣekārdram aśrubhiḥ siṣice punaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Submergé d’affection, il l’étreignit contre son cœur, puis, de ses larmes, il oignit de nouveau sa tête—déjà humide de la consécration au royaume d’Aṅga—scellant ainsi l’acte politique d’un lien profondément personnel d’amour et d’acceptation.
