मुहूर्तोदित आदित्ये सर्वे बालपुरस्कृता: । सदारास्तापसान द्रष्टं निर्ययु: पुरवासिन:,दो घड़ी दिन चढ़ते-चढ़ते समस्त पुरवासी स्त्रियों और बालकोंको साथ लिये तपस्वी मुनियोंका दर्शन करनेके लिये नगरसे बाहर निकल आये

Transliteration

muhūrtodite āditye sarve bālapuraskṛtāḥ | sadārās tāpasān draṣṭuṃ niryayuḥ puravāsinaḥ ||

Translation

Quand le soleil s’était levé depuis peu, tous les habitants de la ville—mettant les enfants en avant et accompagnés de leurs épouses—sortirent hors des murs pour contempler les sages ascètes.
