तव व्विदं मतं मत्वा प्रयतिष्याम्यतः परम्‌ | मन्ये ध्रुवं मयोक्ता सा वचन प्रतिपत्स्यते,परंतु आज इस विषयमें तुम्हारी सम्मति जानकर अब मैं इसके लिये प्रयत्न करूँगा। मुझे विश्वास है, मेरे कहनेपर कुन्तीदेवी निश्चय ही मेरी बात मान लेंगी

Transliteration

tava vvidaṃ mataṃ matvā prayatiṣyāmy ataḥ param | manye dhruvaṃ mayoktā sā vacanaṃ pratipatsyate ||

Translation

«À présent que j’ai compris ton avis mûrement pesé, je m’efforcerai d’autant plus dès ce moment. Je suis certain que, lorsque je parlerai, Kuntī Devī acceptera assurément mes paroles : elle donnera son assentiment.»
