सुगुप्तेषु च देशेषु रक्षा चैव विधीयताम् शीताभिरद्धिरष्ठीलामिमां च परिषेचय,फिर अत्यन्त गुप्त स्थानोंमें रखकर उनकी रक्षा की भी पूरी व्यवस्था करो। इस मांसपिण्डको ठंडे जलसे सींचो
suguptēṣu ca dēśēṣu rakṣā caiva vidhīyatām | śītābhir adbhiḥ aṣṭhīlām imāṁ ca pariṣēcaya ||
Vyāsa dit : «Qu’une protection entière soit mise en place, et qu’on le garde en des lieux parfaitement dissimulés. Quant à cette masse de chair — cet embryon — qu’on l’asperge d’eau froide.»
व्यास उवाच
The verse stresses dharmic responsibility: when something fragile and consequential must be preserved, one should ensure both careful protection and prudent secrecy, carrying out the required care without negligence.
Vyāsa gives practical instructions to safeguard a vulnerable embryonic mass: keep it in thoroughly concealed locations, arrange proper guarding, and sprinkle it with cold water as part of its preservation.
