Shloka 75

Prāyaścitta for Theft, Forbidden Foods, Impurity, and Ritual Lapses; Tīrtha–Vrata Remedies; Pativratā Mahātmyam via Sītā and Agni

आहिताग्निरुपस्थानं न कुर्याद् यस्तु पर्वणि / ऋतौ न गच्छेद् भार्यां वा सो ऽपि कृच्छ्रार्धमाचरेत्

āhitāgnirupasthānaṃ na kuryād yastu parvaṇi / ṛtau na gacched bhāryāṃ vā so 'pi kṛcchrārdhamācaret

Celui qui a établi les feux sacrés et qui, lors d’une fête ou d’une observance de nouvelle lune, n’accomplit pas l’assistance et le culte prescrits aux feux, ou qui, lorsque la saison est favorable, ne s’approche pas de son épouse, doit lui aussi pratiquer la moitié de la pénitence Kṛcchra.
