चूडामणिः समुद्रो ऽग्निर्घण्टा चाखण्डमम्बरम् / अथवा पृथिवीपालो मूर्ध्नि पादे प्रमादतः

cūḍāmaṇiḥ samudro 'gnirghaṇṭā cākhaṇḍamambaram / athavā pṛthivīpālo mūrdhni pāde pramādataḥ

Le joyau du diadème, l’océan, le feu, la cloche et le ciel sans brisure—même de telles grandeurs vénérables—ou même un roi de la terre, peuvent, par négligence, choir de la tête au pied, du plus haut au plus bas.
