Transliteration

taṁ pādayor nipatitam ayathā-pūrvam āturam adho-vadanam ab-bindūn sṛjantaṁ nayanābjayoḥ

Translation

Lorsqu’il se prosterna à ses pieds, le roi vit en lui un abattement sans précédent. La tête baissée, des larmes glissaient de ses yeux pareils au lotus.
