Śrāddhadeva Manu’s Sons: Pṛṣadhra’s Curse and Renunciation; Genealogies of Nariṣyanta and Diṣṭa
In this verse, Śukadeva Gosvāmī states that King Viśāla constructed the city of Vaiśālī.
Canto 9 traces sacred royal lineages to show how dharma and the Lord’s plan unfold through history, connecting later divine appearances and exemplary rulers to their ancestral lines.
They highlight responsible leadership—building stable communities and establishing lasting, dharma-aligned legacies rather than living only for short-term gain.
