This verse says that exclusive devotion to Vāsudeva makes a person samaḥ—equipoised—and sarva-bhūta-suhṛt, a genuine well-wisher of all living beings.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is describing the devotional transformation of a saintly person, emphasizing single-minded surrender to Vāsudeva.
Cultivate ekāntī-bhakti—steady devotion to the Lord—so the heart becomes purified, reducing envy and bias and naturally expressing kindness to all.
