ब्रह्मा तां रह आहूय समप्राक्षीच्च सान्त्वयन् । सोमस्येत्याह शनकै: सोमस्तं तावदग्रहीत् ॥ १३ ॥
brahmā tāṁ raha āhūya samaprākṣīc ca sāntvayan somasyety āha śanakaiḥ somas taṁ tāvad agrahīt
Alors le Seigneur Brahmā conduisit Tārā à l’écart et, l’ayant apaisée, lui demanda à qui appartenait l’enfant. Elle répondit très lentement : « Il est le fils de Soma, le dieu-lune. » Aussitôt, le dieu-lune prit l’enfant sous sa garde.
