Lord Rāmacandra’s Charity, Sītā’s Departure, and the Lord’s Return to Vaikuṇṭha
तमुपेयुस्तत्र तत्र पौरा अर्हणपाणय: । आशिषो युयुजुर्देव पाहीमां प्राक्त्वयोद्धृताम् ॥ २९ ॥
tam upeyus tatra tatra paurā arhaṇa-pāṇayaḥ āśiṣo yuyujur deva pāhīmāṁ prāk tvayoddhṛtām
Partout où le Seigneur Rāmacandra se rendait, les habitants s’approchaient, les mains chargées d’offrandes, et imploraient ses bénédictions. Ils disaient : « Ô Deva, protège-nous ! Comme jadis, dans Ton avatāra de Varāha, Tu as relevé la terre du fond de l’océan, ainsi maintenant soutiens-la et préserve-la; accorde-nous Ta grâce. »
