Śālva Attacks Dvārakā; Pradyumna Leads the Defense
Saubha-vimāna and Māyā-yuddha
Śālva is described as a friend of Śiśupāla who attended Rukmiṇī’s wedding and, like other hostile kings, was later defeated by the Yadus.
It highlights that the Yadus were formidable warriors who could defeat major royal adversaries such as Jarāsandha and also Śālva.
The verse reinforces that opposition rooted in envy and adharmic intent ultimately fails, encouraging devotees to align with dharma and take shelter of the Lord’s protection.
