Kṛṣṇa Enters Mathurā: City Splendor, Devotees’ Reception, and the Washerman’s Fate
मार्गे ग्रामजना राजंस्तत्र तत्रोपसङ्गता: । वसुदेवसुतौ वीक्ष्य प्रीता दृष्टिं न चाददु: ॥ ७ ॥
mārge grāma-janā rājaṁs tatra tatropasaṅgatāḥ vasudeva-sutau vīkṣya prītā dṛṣṭiṁ na cādaduḥ
Ô Roi, tout au long du chemin, les villageois accouraient çà et là et, voyant les deux fils de Vasudeva, se réjouissaient grandement. En vérité, ils ne pouvaient détourner leurs yeux d’Eux.
