Akrūra’s Mission: The Departure from Vraja and the Yamunā Vision of Viṣṇu-Ananta

ता निराशा निववृतुर्गोविन्दविनिवर्तने । विशोका अहनी निन्युर्गायन्त्य: प्रियचेष्टितम् ॥ ३७ ॥

tā nirāśā nivavṛtur govinda-vinivartane viśokā ahanī ninyur gāyantyaḥ priya-ceṣṭitam

Sans espoir que Govinda revienne, les gopīs rebroussèrent chemin. Le cœur plein de chagrin, elles passèrent jours et nuits à chanter les gestes et les līlās de leur Bien-aimé.
