The Deliverance of Nalakūvara and Maṇigrīva
Yamala-Arjuna Līlā Prelude and Culmination
The word parama-kalyāṇa is significant because Kṛṣṇa, in any of His incarnations, appears in order to protect the sādhus ( paritrāṇāya sādhūnām ). The sādhus, saintly persons or devotees, are always harassed by nondevotees, and Kṛṣṇa appears in His incarnations to give them relief. This is His first concern. If we study the history of Kṛṣṇa’s life, we shall find that for most of His life He predominantly engaged in killing demons one after another.
It means offering obeisances to Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), who is inherently peaceful and perfectly self-satisfied, the calm refuge of devotees.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa is called 'yadūnāṁ pati' because He is the supreme lord and protector of the Yadu dynasty, appearing among them to perform His līlā and uphold dharma.
By regularly offering sincere obeisances and remembering Kṛṣṇa as the highest auspiciousness and inner peace, one cultivates devotion, steadiness, and a God-centered mindset.
