उपहूतौ सयुजौ स्योनौ दन्तौ सुमङ्गलौ । अन्यत्र वां घोरं तन्वः१ परैतु दन्तौ मा हिंसिष्टं पितरं मातरं च
upáhūtau sayújau syónau dántau sumáṅgalau | anyátra vā́ṃ ghóram tanvàḥ párāitu dantau mā́ hiṃsiṣṭaṃ pitáraṃ mātáraṃ ca ||
Invoked and brought anear, united, kindly, auspicious, O ye two Teeth: elsewhere let your dreadful thing of the body depart. O ye two Teeth, harm not the father, harm not the mother also.
Invoquées et amenées tout près, unies, bienveillantes, de bon augure — ô vous deux Dents, porteuses de bonheur. Qu’ailleurs s’éloigne de vous ce qui est terrible, issu du corps. Ô vous deux Dents, ne blessez pas le père, ne blessez pas non plus la mère.
