saúbhāgyavardhánam | nyastikā́ ruróhitha subhágaṃkaraṇī́ máma | śatáṃ táva pratā́nās tráyas triṃśán nitānā́ḥ || táyā sahasraparṇyā́ hṛ́dayaṃ śoṣayāmi te ||
Increase of good fortune. O Nyastikā, grow thou forth, fortune-making for me. A hundred are thy spreadings, three-and-thirty thy planted shoots. With thee, O thousand-leaved, I make thy heart to wither (to pine) within thee.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (plant-charm corpus)
Devata: Nyastikā / Sahasraparṇī as personified herb-power (oṣadhi-devatā)
Chandas: Mixed; predominantly Anuṣṭubh-like cadence (rubric + two verse-units)
{"primary_rasa":"shringara","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_arc":"From hopeful invocation → swelling abundance → subtle coercion of the ‘heart’.","listener_experience":"A sense of verdant charm and attraction; wonder at the plant’s many forms.","intensity":6}
