यस्ते केशोऽवपद्यते समूलो यश्च वृश्चते । इदं तं विश्वभेषज्याभि षिञ्चामि वीरुधा

IAST Transliteration

yás te kéśo ’vapádyate samū́lo yáś ca vṛ́ścate | idáṃ táṃ viśvábheṣajyā́bhí ṣiñcāmi vīrúdhā́ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

What hair of thine falls away, torn out with the root, and what is shorn off—this very mischief I besprinkle with the all-healing remedy, with the potent plant.

Translation

Quel cheveu de toi tombe, arraché avec sa racine, et quel cheveu est coupé—ce mal même, je l’asperge du remède qui guérit tout, par la puissance de la plante médicinale (virū́dh).
