अधरोऽधर उत्तरेभ्यो गूढः पृथिव्या मोत् सृपत्। वज्रेणावहतः शयाम्

IAST Transliteration

adháro’dhara úttarebhyo gūḍháḥ pṛthivyā́ mā́ út sṛ́pat | vájreṇā́vahatáḥ śayām

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Lower, yea lower than the upper folk—hidden in the earth—let him not creep forth upward. Smitten down with the thunderbolt, may he lie.

Plus bas, oui plus bas que ceux d’en haut — caché dans la terre — qu’il ne rampe pas vers le haut. Frappé par le Vajra, qu’il gise abattu.
