Sukta 114
मेदस्वता यजमानाः स्रुचाज्यानि जुह्वतः । अकामा विश्वे वो देवाः शिक्षन्तो नोप शेकिम
médasvatā yajámānāḥ srúcā́jyā́ni juhvátáḥ | akāmā́ víśve vo devā́ḥ śíkṣanto nópa śekím
Though rich in unction, we sacrificers, pouring ghee with the ladle, have not, O all ye Gods, duly served you—whether without right intent; therefore, correcting us, do ye release (the fault’s bond).
Bien que nous, sacrifiants, soyons riches en onction et que, par la srúc, nous offrions le ghee, nous ne vous avons pas servis comme il faut, ô tous les Dieux — fût-ce sans intention juste ; aussi, en nous corrigeant, déliez (le lien de la faute).
