शिक्षेयमिन्महयते दिवेदिवे राय आ कुहचिद्विदे । नहि त्वदन्यन्मघवन् न आप्यं वस्यो अस्ति पिता चन
śíkṣeyam ín mahayáte divé-dive rāyá ā́ kuhacíd vidé | náhi tvád anyán maghavan ná ā́pyam vásyo ásti pitā́ caná ||
May I, yea, win day after day from the Great One riches from whatever quarter they be found. For, bounteous Maghavan, apart from thee there is no other better boon attainable—no, not even a father’s.
Puisse-je, oui, du Grand, jour après jour, obtenir des richesses, de quelque côté qu’elles se trouvent. Car, généreux Maghavan, en dehors de toi il n’est pas d’autre don meilleur et accessible — non, pas même celui d’un père.
