वयमु त्वामपूर्व्य स्थूरं न कच्चिद् भरन्तोऽवस्यवः । वाजे चित्रं हवामहे

IAST Transliteration

vayám u tvā́m apū́rvya sthū́raṃ ná kaccíd bháranto ’vasyávaḥ | vā́je citráṃ havāmahe

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

We, craving succour, bearing our gifts, invoke thee indeed, O Unrivalled, the Stout—like none that is anywhere—for splendid aid in the winning of the prize.

Translation

Nous, en quête de secours, portant nos offrandes, nous t’invoquons vraiment, ô Inégalé, le Robuste—tel qu’il n’en est nulle part—pour une aide éclatante dans la conquête du prix.
