Sukta 96
अनुस्पष्टो भवत्येषो अस्य यो अस्मै रेवान् न सुनोति सोमम्। निररत्नौ मघवा तं दधाति ब्रह्मद्विषो हन्त्यनानुदिष्टः
ánuspaṣṭo bhavaty eṣó asyá yó asmai revā́n ná sunóti sómam | nír aratnáu maghávā táṃ dadhāti brahmádviṣo hánty anānudíṣṭaḥ
Plainly is he marked for this—he, though wealthy, who presseth not Soma for him. The Bounteous One casteth him forth, handless and helpless; the hater of holy speech he smiteth down, though none denounce him.
Il est manifestement marqué pour cela, celui qui, bien que riche, ne presse pas pour lui le Soma. Le Généreux (Maghavan) le rejette dehors, sans appui et sans secours ; le haineux de la parole sacrée, il l’abat, même si nul ne le dénonce.
