परमात्मा। यस्मात् कोशादुदभराम वेदं तस्मिन्नन्तरव दध्म एनम्। कृतमिष्टं ब्रह्मणो वीर्येण तेन मा देवास्तपसावतेह
paramā́tmā | yasmā́t kośā́d udábhārāma védaṃ tásminn antár áva dadhma enam | kṛtám iṣṭáṃ bráhmaṇo vīryèṇa téna mā devā́s tápasāvatéha
From that sheath whence we drew forth the Veda, therein—within—we set it down. The rite accomplished, the offering duly made by the might of sacred prayer: thereby, O Gods, with holy ardour, aid and guard me here.
Paramātman. De cette enveloppe d’où nous avons tiré le Veda, en elle — au-dedans — nous l’avons déposé. Le rite est accompli, l’offrande dûment faite par la puissance du Brahman (de la prière sacrée) : par cela, ô Dieux, avec le Tapas (ardeur sainte), assistez-moi et gardez-moi ici.
