आपः। शं त आपो हैमवतीः शमु ते सन्तूत्स्याः । शं ते सनिष्यदा आपः शमु ते सन्तु वर्ष्याः
ā́paḥ | śáṃ te ā́po haimavatī́ḥ śám u te santu utsyā́ḥ | śáṃ te saniṣyádā ā́paḥ śám u te santu varṣyā́ḥ
Waters—be welfare unto thee: welfare be to thee from the snow-born waters; welfare, yea, be thine from the springing waters. Welfare be to thee from the standing waters; welfare, yea, be thine from the rain-born waters.
Eaux — que le bien-être soit pour toi : bien-être pour toi venant des eaux nées de la neige; bien-être pour toi venant des eaux jaillissantes. Bien-être pour toi venant des eaux stagnantes; bien-être pour toi venant des eaux nées de la pluie.
