For him, from the inner realm of the eastern quarter, they appointed Bhava, the Archer, to stand attendant.
Pour lui, depuis le domaine intérieur du quartier de l’Est, ils établirent Bhava, l’Archer, pour se tenir auprès de lui.
Rishi: Atharvanic/anonymous (book 15; r̥ṣi attribution varies)
Devata: Bhava (Rudra-form) as directional guardian of the East
Chandas: Prose/Anuṣṭubh-associated in the hymn’s anukramaṇī note (this line itself functions as a formulaic appointment)
