Sukta 6
अहोरात्रे इदं ब्रूमः सूर्याचन्द्रमसावुभा। विश्वानादित्यान् ब्रूमस्ते नो मुञ्चन्त्वंहसः
ahorātré idáṃ brūmaḥ sū́ryācandramásāv ubhā́ | víśvān ādityā́n brūmás té no muñcántv áṃhasaḥ ||
Day and Night—this we proclaim; the Sun and Moon, both: all the Ādityas we proclaim; may they release us from distress and sin.
Le Jour et la Nuit—voilà ce que nous proclamons ; le Soleil et la Lune, tous deux. Tous les Ādityas, nous les proclamons : qu’ils nous délivrent de la détresse et du péché.
