Related Themes: Agni Purana 96 (agni-utpādana to homa conclusion; śānti-karman framing)
It teaches a śānti-karman homa protocol: once the proper place–time conditions are met, kindle the ritual fire, perform the homa with mantra-competence, and conclude with the auspicious pūrṇāhuti (final complete oblation).
It preserves practical ritual-technology—conditions (deśa-kāla), altar/kuṇḍa considerations, and the standardized closing act (pūrṇāhuti)—showing the text’s compendium-style coverage of applied religious procedures alongside other sciences.
The homa performed under correct conditions and sealed by pūrṇāhuti is presented as a means to neutralize adverse signs (dur-nimitta), restoring auspiciousness and ritual purity, thereby supporting welfare-oriented karma.
