Explanation of the Rite of Initiation

क्षीणरागमथात्मानं ज्ञात्वा संशुद्धिकिल्विषः आरोप्य पुत्रे शिष्ये वा ह्य् अधिकारन्तु संयमी

kṣīṇarāgamathātmānaṃ jñātvā saṃśuddhikilviṣaḥ āropya putre śiṣye vā hy adhikārantu saṃyamī

Ayant reconnu que son propre être est exempt de rāga et que ses fautes ont été purifiées, l’homme maître de lui doit alors conférer l’adhikāra, en le déposant sur son fils ou sur un disciple.
