Una de ellas, al ver a Govinda acercarse, se colmó de júbilo; no hacía más que exclamar: “¡Krishna, Krishna, Krishna!”, sin decir otra cosa.
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Speaker: Parasara
Topic: Gopīs’ ecstatic responses upon seeing Govinda
Teaching: Devotional
Quality: compassionate
Avatara: Krishna
Purpose: To draw the hearts of the Vraja-gopīs into single-pointed remembrance, revealing bhakti as immediate union through nāma and darśana.
Leela: Bala
Dharma Restored: Establishment of nāma-smaraṇa and exclusive devotion (ananya-bhakti) as a living dharma.
Concept: When the heart is seized by Bhagavān’s presence, the tongue naturally clings to his Name alone, showing nāma as direct devotional absorption.
Vedantic Theme: Dharma
Application: Practice simple, repeated nāma-japa/kīrtana to cultivate one-pointed attention and reduce scattered speech and thought.
Vishishtadvaita: Personal Bhagavān is approached through loving address; the soul’s dependence and intimacy are real, not illusory, within divine unity.
Vishnu Form: Krishna
Bhakti Type: Madhurya
This verse presents nāma-ucchāra (uttering the Lord’s name) as an immediate, overflowing response of bhakti—so absorbing that nothing else remains to be said.
By narrating a simple scene: the devotee’s mind fixes on Govinda’s presence, and speech naturally becomes exclusive remembrance—expressed as repeated Krishna-nāma.
Krishna is shown as Govinda, the supreme object of love and refuge; His mere approach evokes total-hearted joy and single-pointed remembrance, a hallmark of Vaishnava devotion.
