सोदामिनीं सुदाम्नस्तु सुतां रूपाधिकां नपः कुरोरर्थाय वतवान् स प्रादात् कुरवे ऽपि ताम्

sodāminīṃ sudāmnastu sutāṃ rūpādhikāṃ napaḥ kurorarthāya vatavān sa prādāt kurave 'pi tām

Aquel rey, habiendo así resuelto, entregó también a Kuru a Sūdāminī, hija de Sūdāman, de belleza sobresaliente, por el bien de Kuru como alianza matrimonial.
