Akshamalika

पुनरेतस्यां सर्वात्मकत्वं भावयित्वा भावेन पूर्वमालिकामुत्पाद्यारभ्य तन्मयीं महोपहारैरुपहृत्य आदिक्षान्तैरक्षरैरक्षमालामष्टोत्तरशतं स्पृशेत्॥१४॥

पुनः । एतस्याम् । सर्व-आत्मकत्वम् । भावयित्वा । भावेन । पूर्व-मालिकाम् । उत्पाद्य । आरभ्य । तन्-मयीम् । महा-उपहारैः । उपहृत्य । आदि-क्षान्तैः । अक्षरैः । अक्ष-मालाम् । अष्ट-उत्तर-शतम् । स्पृशेत् ॥

punar etasyāṃ sarvātmakatvaṃ bhāvayitvā bhāvena pūrva-mālikām utpādya ārabhya tan-mayīṃ mahopahārair upahṛtya ādi-kṣāntair akṣarair akṣa-mālām aṣṭottara-śataṃ spṛśet ||14||

De nuevo, habiendo contemplado en esto (el rosario/la matriz del mantra) su naturaleza como el Sí mismo de todo, y habiendo primero generado e iniciado la guirnalda preliminar con intención devota, tras ofrecerla—hecha de esa misma Realidad—con grandes ofrendas, debe tocarse el rosario ciento ocho veces con las sílabas que comienzan en «a» y terminan en «kṣa» (esto es, el alfabeto).

Again, having contemplated in this (rosary/mantra-matrix) its nature as the Self of all, and having first produced and commenced the preliminary garland with intention, having offered it—made of that (same reality)—with great offerings, one should touch the rosary one hundred and eight times with syllables beginning with ‘a’ and ending with ‘kṣa’ (i.e., the alphabet).
