Skanda
Tirtha: Candreśvara in Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A circle of pleased brāhmaṇas, serene and smiling, address Soma—moon-crowned and luminous—praising his unmatched dakṣiṇā; ritual gifts (gold, cows, cloth, grains) are arranged near the shrine.
Those who honour the learned with generosity earn their blessings and become protectors of dharma.
Kāśī’s ritual culture is implied—where brāhmaṇas’ blessings and yajña-dakṣiṇā are especially meritorious.
The implied dharma is lavish and fitting dakṣiṇā to brāhmaṇas as part of sacrificial performance.
