स॒द्यो जा॒तो व्य॑मिमीत य॒ज्ञम॒ग्निर्दे॒वाना॑मभवत् पुरो॒गाः । अ॒स्य होतु॑: प्र॒दिश्यृ॒तस्य॑ वा॒चि स्वाहा॑कृतᳪ ह॒विर॑दन्तु दे॒वाः

Transliteration

sadyó jātó vy àmimīta yajñám agnír devā́nām abhavat purogā́ḥ | asyá hotúḥ pradíśy ṛtásya vā́ci svā́hākṛtaṃ havír adantu devā́ḥ ||

Translation

Recién nacido, al instante midió el sacrificio; Agni llegó a ser el precursor de los dioses. Conforme a la asignación de este Hotṛ, en la palabra de ṛta, que los dioses coman la oblación hecha con «Svāhā».
