Transliteration

hṛtaṃ somaṃ ca daiteyairbalāddevānvijitya ca | baliprabhṛtibhirvyāsa yugāntāgnyarkasuprabhaiḥ

Translation

Oh Vyāsa, los Daityas, tras someter por la fuerza a los dioses, arrebataron también el Soma; y los poderosos—comenzando por Bali—resplandecían con un fulgor terrible, como el fuego del fin de la era y como el sol abrasador.
