Kṣaura-Snāna-Vidhi — Rite of Tonsure/Shaving and Purificatory Bath (Śaiva Procedure)
पुनरेकाम्पादयोश्च मुखे चान्यां करे क्रमात् । संलिप्याक्षाल्य चाम्भोभिः पुनश्च जलमाविशेत्
punarekāmpādayośca mukhe cānyāṃ kare kramāt | saṃlipyākṣālya cāmbhobhiḥ punaśca jalamāviśet
De nuevo, en el debido orden, debe tocarse el agua en un pie y luego en el otro, en la boca y después en las demás partes del cuerpo y en las manos. Habiendo tocado y lavado así con agua, debe sorber agua una vez más (ācaman), reingresando al estado de pureza ritual apto para el culto a Śiva.
