Él conoce el verdadero sentido y la realidad interior de todas las escrituras—Vedas, Āgamas, Purāṇas y demás śāstras—y comprende los nacimientos y los cursos kármicos de todos los seres: dioses, asuras, humanos y otros.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Significance: Affirms scriptural totality (Veda–Āgama–Purāṇa) and karmic omniscience as marks of a true Śiva-jñāna guru; encourages pilgrims/seekers to approach Śiva through both āgamic discipline and purāṇic devotion.
Role: teaching
The verse highlights the hallmark of the supreme Pati (Lord Shiva): perfect knowledge of all śāstric purport and of the karmic destinies of every jīva, implying that liberation comes through right understanding aligned with Śaiva truth (tattva) and grace.
In Śaiva Siddhānta, worship of the Liṅga (Saguna focus) is a disciplined means to approach the one who is beyond all forms (Nirguna) yet knows the essence of all scriptures; the verse supports that true worship is grounded in the Āgamas and culminates in realizing Shiva as the knower and governor of karma.
A practical takeaway is śāstra-aligned sādhanā: daily Liṅga-pūjā with Āgamic devotion, japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and contemplation on karma and tattva to seek Shiva’s grace that loosens pāśa (bondage).
