índrāya sā́ma gāyata víprāya bṛhaté bṛhát | dharma-kṛté vipaś-cité panasyáve ||
Translation
Cantad el Sāman a Indra — al vidente, al Vasto, a la Vastedad; al que establece la Dharma, al de clara visión, digno de ser buscado y venerado.
