Sukta 8.27
अस्ति हि वः सजात्यं रिशादसो देवासो अस्त्याप्यम् । प्र णः पूर्वस्मै सुविताय वोचत मक्षू सुम्नाय नव्यसे ॥
ásti hí vaḥ sajā́tyaṃ riśādaso devāso ’sty ā́pyam | prá ṇaḥ pū́rvasmai suvitā́ya vocata mákṣū sumnā́ya návyase ||
Pues en verdad tenéis, oh destructores del daño, un parentesco común; oh dioses, también tenéis una pertenencia compartida. Decid para nosotros la antigua senda buena del bienestar; llevadnos pronto a una gracia y dicha más nuevas.
