ततस्तेवानराःसर्वेशोणितौघपरिप्लुताः ।।।।ध्वजवर्मरथानश्वान्नानाप्रहरणानि च ।आप्लुत्याप्लुत्यसमरेवानरेन्द्राबभञ्चिरे ।।।।

Transliteration

tatas te vānarāḥ sarve śoṇitaugha-pariplutāḥ |

dhvaja-varma-rathān aśvān nānā-praharaṇāni ca |

āplutyāplutya samare vānarendrā babhañcire ||

Translation

Entonces todos aquellos vánaras, empapados en torrentes de sangre, saltaban una y otra vez en la batalla; y los caudillos vánaras destrozaron estandartes, armaduras, carros, caballos y armas de muchas clases.
